Sowing the Seeds of Science: Growing Minds. Transforming Communities.
Founded in the summer of 2026 by Sanvi Venkayala, a senior at the Massachusetts Academy of Math and Science in Worcester, MA, this project stems from a passion for hands-on technical education and community service. Drawing on her extensive background in robotics, computer science, and a non-profit for tutoring youth, Sanvi recognized an opportunity to extend experiential learning beyond local communities. In partnership with the Kuraparthy Sai Chaitanya Sravanthi Educational & Charitable Trust in Madanapalle, India, she initiated a remote hands-on STEM curriculum designed to make complex concepts accessible and engaging.
Starting with a single remote session centered around a hands-on chemistry kit, the overwhelming enthusiasm of the students turned a trial experiment into a structured weekly program. Over the summer, Sanvi developed and facilitated remote workshops where students assembled optical microscopes, constructed functioning electrical circuits, and designed creative paper circuits.
This initiative is made possible through the collaboration and dedication of the teachers and coordinators at the Kuraparthy school, whose local facilitation transforms virtual instruction into interactive, hands-on physical labs.
Having demonstrated the success of interactive, kit-based learning at our partner school in India, our goal is to:
Deepen Impact: Expand the curriculum at the Kuraparthy school to include robotics, basic coding logic, and environmental science modules.
Expand our Outreach: Adapt this remote STEM framework for additional underserved schools and educational trusts globally.
To expand our reach and deliver high-quality STEM resources to more young learners, we welcome collaboration from passionate mentors and supporters:
For Student Mentors & Tutors: Join our team to design interactive STEM modules and lead live, hands-on virtual workshops for enthusiastic young students.
For Donors & Partners: Every workshop relies on learning tools—from basic electrical components and paper circuitry to chemistry sets and optical kits. Direct contributions fund the procurement, assembly, and delivery of these essential STEM kits to our partner classrooms.
